Were looking for a Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our supportive and energetic team. Your role is to provide expert assessment, clinical intervention, and ongoing rehabilitation services to children with diverse physical and developmental needs. You will work closely with therapists, families, and other professionals to design and deliver effective programs that improve mobility, function, and quality of life. Your role is essential in ensuring that therapy services are safe, engaging, and aligned with best practice standards. Managing a caseload independently and prioritizing workload. Ensuring a full caseload is balanced and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, including physical examination, mobility analysis, and functional evaluation.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect client goals and clinical findings.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions (e.g., manual therapy, posture and gait training, therapeutic exercises) in line with current evidence-based practice.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate families and caregivers on home programs, therapeutic strategies, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with DHA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members (e.g., occupational therapists, speech therapists, educators) to support holistic care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings to enhance service delivery.
- Promote a supportive, engaging, and child-focused therapy environment.
Client and Team Support
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop any new policies or guidelines in accordance with your role.
- To create/ review and streamline systems to ensure the best productivity and outcome.
- To maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- To do all responsibilities under the guidance of the Head of Department and the Managing Director.
- To ensure that any annual leave is taken during off peak times, so as not to disrupt therapy team when it most busy.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution (Masters degree is a plus).
- Holding a valid DHA license is mandatory to practice.
- Malpractice Insurance is mandatory.
- Maintaining your professional body registration.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience post-qualification in paediatric, musculoskeletal, or neurological physiotherapy practice.
- Additional CPD certification that further secure expertise is desirable (e.g. courses in neurodevelopmental approaches etc.)
