Sales Executive - FMCG
Job Description:
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to manage and grow our food category portfolio across retail and distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have strong FMCG experience, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive product placement and sales performance in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales targets and expand distribution of food products across retail stores and key accounts
- Manage relationships with supermarkets, groceries, and distributors in assigned territories
- Execute promotions, merchandising plans, and in-store visibility standards
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments
- Ensure proper stock availability, shelf placement, and pricing accuracy
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely order fulfillment
- Handle order processing, collections, and customer follow-ups
- Prepare regular sales reports, territory updates, and market feedback for management
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- 2 - 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in food products (bakery, dairy, frozen, grocery, or protein)
- Strong understanding of retail and distribution channels
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a strong results orientation
- Valid driving license (especially for field roles)
- Knowledge of the UAE/GCC FMCG market is a strong advantage
