Role Overview

Our client is looking for an ambitious and hands-on Sales Manager to lead sales growth, marketing initiatives, and operational execution as they expand into new markets. This role requires a self-starter with startup experience, capable of wearing multiple hats from business development to team coordination and go-to-market strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth across target markets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and pitching to closing deals
  • Lead market expansion initiatives, conducting research and building local partnerships
  • Collaborate with marketing to plan campaigns, promotions, and digital outreach
  • Oversee sales operations, CRM management, and pipeline reporting
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a small sales team as the business scales
  • Track KPIs, analyze performance data, and provide actionable insights to management
  • Represent the company at events, trade shows, and networking opportunities


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial management
  • Proven experience in startup or early-stage environments (launching or scaling new markets)
  • Strong understanding of sales funnels, CRM systems, and digital marketing basics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
