Role Overview
Our client is looking for an ambitious and hands-on Sales Manager to lead sales growth, marketing initiatives, and operational execution as they expand into new markets. This role requires a self-starter with startup experience, capable of wearing multiple hats from business development to team coordination and go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth across target markets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and pitching to closing deals
- Lead market expansion initiatives, conducting research and building local partnerships
- Collaborate with marketing to plan campaigns, promotions, and digital outreach
- Oversee sales operations, CRM management, and pipeline reporting
- Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction
- Recruit, train, and mentor a small sales team as the business scales
- Track KPIs, analyze performance data, and provide actionable insights to management
- Represent the company at events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5 - 8 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial management
- Proven experience in startup or early-stage environments (launching or scaling new markets)
- Strong understanding of sales funnels, CRM systems, and digital marketing basics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
